On the screen is a picture of the youth group at our church - Hope Chapel. This picture is from when the Youth Pastor asked us to share our experience of being a youth leader in a youth group that we were a part of when we were in high school.

CJ and I have been teaching sophomore bible study at our church for about 6 months now, and we are so happy that we decided to do this. It has brought so much joy to our lives. We have always gone to this church- we even went to the youth group when we were in high school- but there is just something about having a role and a responsibility in our church now. We leave every Wednesday night fired up and ready to take on the rest of the week! Last week's message was really encouraging so I wanted to share some of it with you all.

We read through Ephesians 2: 1-10.

Through this scripture we learned that -Yes, we are all sinners -Yes, we all make mistakes -Yes, we are all going to go through trials. This is called being HUMAN. We are not perfect and we never will be. But we are still loved and wanted and through this unconditional love we have been forgiven for our mistakes! How awesome is it to know that you will always be loved no matter what.

If you ever feel unloved .. you’re not! If you ever feel like things are so horrible and will never get better .. they will!

There is a plan for your life- we were put here on Earth to do good and be kind and live fulfilling lives. You might not understand right now why things are happening or why you feel this way, but eventually you will. And it is all going to be OK
