"I'm gonna sing, in the middle of the storm. Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar."

When we go through difficult times we usually feel angry, sad and sometimes don’t understand why this is happening to us. I know I do and can remember many times I’ve felt this way.
▪️Colleges I didn’t get accepted into.
▪️Hard times and trials CJ and I have gone through as a couple .
▪️The feeling of being left out
The list can go on and on
One thing we forget to remember during these difficult times is that everything happens for a reason and there is a plan and purpose for our life.
▪️If I had gone to a different college- maybe I would not be working at WIC and helping as many people as I am now through my job. And I wouldn’t have met some of my best friends.
▪️The trials CJ and I have gone through made our relationship so much stronger. .
▪️If I had stayed on campus every weekend and went to every party in college instead of studying when I needed to or spending time with my family-my grades would have suffered and I would have missed out on the memories of being there to support my siblings during their baseball and soccer games.
Something good comes out of every bad situation. You might not see it or understand it in the moment.. but eventually you will look back and realize why this happened and maybe even be thankful for it.
The song we sang tonight at youth group- Raise a Hallelujah- reminded me of this.
"I'm gonna sing, in the middle of the storm. Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar."
Go through difficult times and trials with confidence knowing things will get better and there is a reason it is happening.
